Bergen-Tromsø house alliance! Two beardy and nice chaps have put their heads together and collaborate. Not as a duo, as you would expect, but rather in a different form of collaboration: EP's with one track each, and then a remix of each other’s respective track.
Kahuun is a part of the electronic scene in Bergen. He released his debut EP in 1999 on Paper Recordings, and has released a string of EP's on various labels. Earlier in a jazzy broken beat style, but lately more towards 4-4 house and techno.
Kohib is an important part of the Tromsø-scene, both as a club organizer, DJ and artist. His debut was on the Prima Norsk 3 compilation in 2005, followed by an album, a remix-album, and a string of EP's and digital singles.
Together, they present an EP of quite hard-hitting house, with a playful synthesis of bouncy rhythms and groovy basslines.
